Branch Intensive
Branch Intensive is a week-long series of classes and workshops that run in the third week of July. Each day breaks down into two physical practice (“technique”) classes, and two creative process (“choreography”) classes. The intensive contracts a faculty of local teachers and non-local teachers who are originally from Northern Ontario. The week includes a number of community events (All Artists Meet-Up and Community Conversations), and culminates in a Downtown Tour, taking an audience on a tour of performances set in different locations downtown, and finally a Community Meal in Memorial Park.
